Job description

We are working with a growing and successful construction company, and they are looking for a keen and enthusiastic HR & Recruitment Administrator to join the business ASAP.

This is an office-based role – Monday to Friday (Apply online only).

  • Reporting into the HR Manager and providing support to c100 permanent employees and up to 500 contractors, the focus of the role is to provide generalist HR administration support to the business and supporting with recruitment. Key duties will include;
  • Reporting into HR Manager and working as part of a team of 3.
  • Provide support to the HR Manager by managing all day-to-day HR administration and supporting with all recruitment activities.
  • HR administration including HR letters, contracts, HR filing, processing starters and leavers etc
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
  • Support and oversee recruitment, including advertise vacancies and manage applications, telephone screening, organise interviews, assessments, and trial days.
  • Prepare interview packs and maintain recruitment trackers.
  • Collect, verify and process all required onboarding documentation, ensuring all workforce are fully compliant before mobilisation.
  • Schedule and coordinate induction sessions with key team members.
  • Prepare and distribute induction materials (handbooks, policies, welcome packs).
  • Co-ordinate study enrolment forms.
  • Arrange study travel / accommodation where required.

For this role candidates will ideally have some exposure within a busy HR team supporting with HR administration and recruitment, or otherwise have some office administration experience and be passionate about developing a career in HR.

A confident and outgoing approach is required, with excellent communication and administration skills is required for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to develop a career in HR, as you will be providing support to the HR Manager with exposure to all areas of HR and there is scope to take on more responsibility and progress within the role long term.
