We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a HR Project Lead, on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £22.48 - £30.05 per hour

Summary:

The HR Project Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating HR projects aligned with the Councils workforce strategy, ensuring effective delivery of initiatives that enhance service provision, workforce engagement, and organisational development. The role involves managing complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting HR-related research, and delivering solutions that support the Councils commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage HR projects, including policy development, employee engagement, procurement, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement project plans to deliver agreed outcomes within budget, scope, and timelines.
  • Conduct HR research, analyse data, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, health and safety regulations, and council policies.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior managers, outlining progress, outcomes, and future development options.

Qualifications:

  • Project management qualification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven track record of planning, managing, and delivering HR projects of varying complexity.
  • Experience in conducting HR-related research and data analysis.
