HR Operations Team Leader

Location : Birmingham City Centre

Salary : £40-45k dependant on experience. Hybrid, full time and permanent.

We are looking for an experienced HR Operations Team Leader to lead a team of 4–5 HR Administrators, providing clear direction, coaching, and support. You will also collaborate closely with fellow Team Leaders, building strong relationships across the People HR function to ensure seamless, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of HR Administrators
  • Acting as the expert for the Onboarding & Admin Hub
  • Managing and monitoring the internal HR system prioritising urgent queries
  • Managing the relationship with our employment partners
  • Producing weekly operational reports for the business and people team
  • Ensuring timely processing of all tasks and delivering a smooth onboarding experience
  • Overseeing team project work and managing small-scale projects
  • Continuously reviewing and enhancing processes to drive service excellence
  • Investigating escalations and resolving queries as needed
  • Responding to internal requests and supporting stakeholders across the business
Experience

We are looking for previous professional service experience in an HR Team Leader position, ideally within a law firm, experience managing people in a HR capacity and a strong understanding of HR systems, policies and processes.
