HR Manager (and recruitment)

Job ID: 1303742

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Greater London, Central London

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

As my client continues to scale, they are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Manager to lead the small HR function and champion their people‑first culture.

THE COMPANY

This is a fast‑growing digital marketing agency based in London, supporting clients across a broad range of industries. The team is largely remote, but highly collaborative, and driven by creativity, innovation and measurable results. As a 360‑degree boutique digital marketing agency, they offer a full suite of services focused on elevating brand awareness, boosting online traffic, conversions, revenue and ROI for their clients.

THE ROLE

The HR Manager will take ownership of the HR department, developing and delivering HR strategy and day‑to‑day operations alongside the Senior Management Team and an HR assistant. This hands‑on role requires strong organisational skills, sound judgement and exceptional stakeholder management. Approximately 25% of the role will involve end‑to‑end recruitment, as the company grows. Much of this recruiting will target digital talent such as SEO experts and content specialists.

YOU
  • Experience in a mid‑to‑senior HR generalist or HR management role, ideally within a digital, creative or tech‑driven environment. Agency experience is an advantage.
  • Worked on recruitment and general HR, holding CIPD Level 5 or higher.
  • Significant experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment, including proactive sourcing for specialist and hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and manage an HR function with minimal supervision.
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trusted relationships across all levels.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using HR and applicant tracking systems.

The agency has an office in the West End of London. Ideally you will be happy in the office 2–3 days per week, but a fully remote role is possible if candidates tick all required criteria.
