A supportive organization is seeking an HR Manager (Operational) to lead the HR function and enhance employee relations in Wakefield. This hybrid role requires strong experience and a coaching approach to improve people practices. Responsibilities include developing the HR team, coaching managers, and collaborating with leadership to promote inclusive environments. This role exists to help make that real. You’ll lead the day‑to‑day HR function and work closely with managers across our services, supporting good judgement, fair decisions, and confident leadership. When our people are supported well, the people we support experience better outcomes.
You won’t work behind a desk or hide behind policy. You’ll be present in services, building trust, listening, and helping leaders create inclusive, respectful environments where people can do their best work.
