Overview

Point Recruitment are recruiting for a HR Manager for our client based in St Ives.

Our client is a well established manufacturing company. They are recruiting for a stand-alone HR Manager to work closely with the senior management team to lead and provide an active voice for the HR practices and objectives within the business. This is a highly employee-orientated HR Manager role where you will provide the link between the factory floor and the directors.

Responsibilities
  • Deal with HR policies and procedures making sure they are compliant with current employment law.
  • Employee Relations, Appraisal policies, Recruitment.
  • Provide the Managing Director with any changes in employment law, staffing issues and ongoing employment prior to the monthly board meeting
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures maintaining an open door policy.
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relation issues including redundancy and grievance ensuring all employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
  • Monitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular support to members of the Senior Management Team.
  • Develop and maintain effective hiring procedures and recruitment agency contacts. Support Managers on all recruitment and onboarding procedures to ensure consistency and fairness throughout
