The Role: HR Business Partner - HR Generalist

Location: London (North London)

Salary Circa £50k £58k + benefits

The Company

Our client is a successful operator in the environmental sector, looking for an accomplished HR Generalist to join their operational waste and energy business.

The Role

As an HR Generalist you will report to our Head of HR providing pragmatic and comprehensive HR advice working in a fast paced, operational environment.

  • As HR Business Partner you will build credible relationships across your employee client base, promoting and coaching best management practice, providing HR expertise with a commercial outlook.
  • As our HR Business Partner you will build relationships with our line managers to drive cultural change, embedding a productive, supportive and dynamic culture.
  • You will support your HR Generalist colleagues and collaborate on transformation projects.
  • As HR Generalist you will work with your senior team to develop their talent and succession planning across the business unit.
  • As our HR Generalist you will work with the team in supporting the full recruitment process and onboarding of all new staff.
  • You will play an active role in supporting and implementing new HR initiatives as required.
The Successful Candidate - Qualifications, Experience And Attributes
  • The successful candidate will ideally have CIPD HR accreditation or equivalent.
  • It would be advantageous to have experience within renewables, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, working in operational business environments is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Experience in coaching and upskilling management practices.
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Experience in employee relations, recruitment, succession planning, and change management.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with an innovative, adaptable, professional and dedicated attitude.
