Job Summary

Based in Central London and reporting to the Senior HR Country Manager, the HR Generalist is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across country operations, ensuring compliance with local legislation and company policies. This role collaborates closely with managers, employees, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to provide HR services throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, performance management, handling employee queries, and managing HR administration.

Core Responsibilities
Service Excellence
  • Act as the point of contact for a workforce of approximately 200 employees.
  • Master knowledge about HR policies, benefits, company resources and answer day‑to‑day questions in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Promote company’s self‑service tools and resources.
  • Champion Workday to increase tool utilization among managers and employees.
HR Operations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, including personnel files and trackers for payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and immigration.
  • Maintain HR analytics on key people metrics (e.g., attrition, talent mobility) utilizing Workday reporting and Excel.
  • Administer HRIS systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Support audits and compliance checks across multiple jurisdictions (UK, Dubai, Singapore, and Australia).
  • Manage HR invoicing processes in partnership with Finance and other departments.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of starters, leavers, and in‑life changes.
  • Assist the Senior HR Country Manager in HR process mapping and process improvement activities.
  • Prepare employment documentation.
Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract approvals, Right‑to‑Work checks, Welcome Day facilitation, probation monitoring, onboarding survey analysis, and exit interviews.
  • Drive completion of probationary reviews by People Leaders to ensure timely feedback and decisions.
  • Prepare employment‑related letters (e.g., visa requests, verification, references).
Employee Relations & Advisory
  • Assist the Senior HR Country Manager with employee relations cases, including family leave, disciplinary actions, grievances, investigations and performance management.
  • Provide guidance to employees on country‑specific policies and procedures.
Communication & Engagement
  • Proactively maintain HR communication channels and update FAQs documentation.
  • Organize employee training sessions and engagement initiatives.
Employee Experience Projects & Global Collaboration
  • Contribute to country‑level HR projects and global HR initiatives aiming to enhance employee experience.
  • Partner with functional HR teams, Talent Acquisition, and other COEs to streamline processes and ensure alignment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or CIPD qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR, preferably in a generalist capacity.
  • Proven experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of local legislation and HR best practices.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Workday is desirable.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high‑touch, customer‑focused HR support, acting with a “customer‑first” mindset.
  • Skilled in proactive investigation and problem‑solving.
  • Detail‑oriented with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
