Job summary

A global e-commerce leader is hiring an HR Consultant Apprentice in Greater London. The role focuses on partnering with stakeholders to provide expert HR guidance, promoting diversity and supporting HR strategy. Candidates must be over 18, hold 3 A Levels and 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, and demonstrate a passion for learning. This 24-month apprenticeship provides hands-on experience towards an HR Consultant Partner Level 5 qualification and CIPD certification.

As a HR Consultant Apprentice, you'll immerse yourself in a customer-obsessed HR team, striving to deliver informed advice that enables exceptional experiences for both customers and employees.

We are seeking consultative individuals who can analyse complex business challenges and craft innovative, people-focused solutions. You'll need to excel in stakeholder management to be able to build trusted partnerships with personnel at all levels. In addition, you'll need to cultivate a growth mindset, cultural awareness, and the ability to navigate ambiguity - all of which are vital qualities for HR professionals to drive transformative change.

  • 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above, Please note, if you have received educational qualifications outside of the UK then we will require a Statement of Comparability to confirm your eligibility for the scheme.   • Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility and offers are subject to funding approval
  • PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 24 month fixed-term contract. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.
  • This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the occupation
To qualify for this programme, you must:
  • Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026)
  • Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the program).
  • Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
  • Not be, registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2026 or later
  • Have at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9 (A-C) or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English, You are able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • You are able to demonstrate drive and a passion for learning

You will gain a vast range of useful experiences and skills whilst working towards the HR Consultant Partner Level 5 apprenticeship standard and the CIPD Level 5 certification in People Management. As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You will be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.

You will build your skills over a 24-month period, starting in September. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.
