Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Public Sector organisation who are looking to appoint a 2 HR Business Partners on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

This will be a temporary position based in Liverpool, with hybrid working (2 / 3 days home working) and a day rate of up to £300 per day via an Umbrella company dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR professional who can lead people initiatives, support organisational change, advise senior leaders, foster a positive culture, and must hold or be working towards CIPD Level 7.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Act as liaison between Directors, management teams, and People & Organisational Culture, coordinating corporate support to meet priorities
  • Lead workforce planning, talent management, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage organisational changes, including restructurings, consultations, and redundancy / redeployment processes
  • Advise senior leaders on transformation, organisation design, and complex employment matters
  • Support leaders in fostering an inclusive, high‑performing workplace culture
