A specialist insurer is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its UK & Ireland HR team. This is a broad, hands‑on generalist role supporting a population of approximately 200 employees across the UK and Ireland, with regular interaction across the wider international group.

Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with another HR Business Partner, this role plays a key part in delivering pragmatic, commercial HR support across the employee lifecycle, while contributing to regional and group‑wide initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to leaders and managers across the business
  • Provide end‑to‑end generalist HR support, including employee relations, performance management, organisational change and talent matters
  • Support and deliver HR projects and initiatives at local, regional and group level
  • Collaborate with international HR colleagues across Western Europe & Africa
  • Ensure HR policies, processes and practices are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
  • Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels
About You
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Business Partner role
  • Background within financial services or a similarly regulated environment preferred
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, dynamic organisation with multiple priorities
  • Empathic, pragmatic and solutions‑focused, with strong judgement
  • Highly personable with excellent relationship‑building skills
  • Organised, resilient and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Ambitious and motivated, with a collaborative and positive approach

The organisation is open to candidates based in either London or Watford. The successful candidate will ideally be available to start in late April 2026 to allow for a comprehensive handover and smooth transition.
