Are you prepared to elevate your career in Human Resources? The position of HR Advisor (Employee Relations) at Pearson VUE offers you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and further your career within a supportive environment.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with experienced HR professionals, delivering a proactive and effective Human Resources service to managers and employees within designated areas of the Pearson VUE global business. You will ensure that managers receive comprehensive support across all HR matters, with a focus on employee relations, enabling them to achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.

Candidates should demonstrate prior experience in employee relations, possess generalist HR exposure, and hold a minimum of CIPD Level 3 HR certification.

Your Responsibilities

  • Advise and partner with managers across all employee relations and generalist HR functions
  • Maintain strict legal compliance and confidentiality when managing employee personal data.
  • Advocate for and implement best practices aligned with Pearson VUE’s objectives and organisational culture.
  • Guide and support managers regarding grievance, disciplinary, and other employee-related matters to ensure cases progress in accordance with legislation, policy, and best practice.
  • Oversee and, where appropriate, work in conjunction with the Pearson PeopleCare Team to ensure effective administrative support for both the HR function and wider business.
  • Collaborate with the PeopleCare team to guarantee robust systems and processes are in place.

Our Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience focusing on Employee Relations and must have attained, at minimum, a CIPD Level 3 HR certificate.

Successful applicants will exhibit strong time management, organisational, and prioritisation abilities essential for thriving in a dynamic and occasionally high-pressure environment. Independence is expected, coupled with the discernment to seek guidance when necessary.

We require a dependable, responsible team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and meticulous attention to detail are also essential.
