York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity within the Workforce & OD Directorate as a Human Resources Advisor. We are looking for a pro-active, forward thinking individual to join our team of HR Advisors. You must show resilience and the ability to manage your own workload effectively. We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who has worked in an environment where they are the first point of contact for managers, providing professional, high quality advice and guidance to facilitate the early resolution of difficult, complex or sensitive employee relations issues, ensuring that employees are treated fairly and the risks associated with such cases are effectively managed. In addition to providing a timely advisory service to managers and supporting the HR Support Team on general operational issues such as terms and conditions of service, family friendly policies, annual leave, flexible working, initial stages of sickness absence, performance management, conduct investigations, civility, respect and resolution cases.
You must be able to communicate effectively and confidently to a wide range of audiences. If you are self-motivated and are looking to expand your knowledge and to further your career within HR, this could be the role you have been waiting for!
If you are currently employed by the Trust and you wish to apply for this role on a secondment basis, please seek permission from your current line manager before applying for the post.
