CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business based in Blandford Forum to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a permanent basis. What will the HR Advisor role involve?
  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees on policies, employee relations, and best practice
  • Coordinate new starter processes, inductions, and onboarding, as well as manage leaver processes, including exit interviews
  • Produce and manage HR reports, including regular updates for senior stakeholders
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, coordinating interviews, and preparing offers and contracts
  • Ensure all job descriptions and person specifications are accurate and kept up to date
  • Lead on annual reviews of the staff handbook, HR policies, and templates to ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Actively monitor absence cases and conduct return-to-work interviews
  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process and employee engagement initiatives
Suitable candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) with proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Proactive and flexible, with a solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong IT skills and experience managing HR systems and reporting
