Overview

HR Advisor – Aerospace Sector (CIPD Level 5)
Location: Portsmouth, UK (full time on site)
Working Pattern: 9 day fortnight (every other Friday is a non working day)
Salary: Up to £50,000
Benefits: Generous pension, 9 day working fortnight, 25 days holidays + BH + more

The Company

My client is an Aerospace organisation involved in the design, manufacturing, certification and services for mission‑critical equipment. They support both civil and military operators, working closely with OEMs and maintenance facilities. This is an organisation that has been established for 50 years, a global leader in mission‑critical equipment, operating in over 120 countries.

The Role

The HR Advisor will support the HR Business Partner in delivering HR processes, compliance and business partnering. You will provide HR guidance to managers, manage policies, manage employee relations and ensure compliance with employment law. You will be a focal point for resolving issues and supporting employees through various stages of their employment.

Qualifications & Experience
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Proven experience in a HR generalist / HR Advisor role within a manufacturing or operational environment – ideally 4+ years.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management and engagement – influencing and nurturing relationships.
  • Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, recruitment, employee relations, workforce management etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations cases.
  • Beneficial to have a background or understanding of payroll.
  • Previous experience or exposure with streamlining and implementing procedures is highly beneficial.
