Job summary

A global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR Advisor in Manchester, initially on a temporary basis for 6 months, with the potential for a permanent role. Responsibilities include recruitment support, onboarding, advising on policies, and employee support. The ideal candidate will have advisory experience, knowledge of UK legislation, CIPD level 5, and familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Workday. Salary ranges from £15.50 to £17.40 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an advisory, coordinator, or generalist HR role.
  • Familiarity with UK employment legislation.
  • CIPD level 5 certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment by drafting job descriptions and setting up interviews.
  • Support the onboarding process for new starters.
  • Offer guidance and advice on policies and procedures.
  • Make amendments to employee records.
  • Provide support to employees as necessary.
  • Set up training courses.
  • Contribute ideas and projects to improve processes.

HR Advisor. Salford. Initially temp for 6 months which may lead to permanent. 15.50 - 17.40 DOE

A global manufacturing company are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide support for up to 6 months, initially on a temporary basis but could lead to a permanent job opportunity. Duties will include;

  • Assisting with recruitment - drafting job descriptions and setting up interviews
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new starters - carrying out inductions, gaining references and doing RTW checks
  • Offering guidance and advice to Managers on policies and procedures
  • Making any amendments to employee records
  • Providing support to employees if needed
  • Setting up training courses
  • Assisting and contributing to ideas and projects that will streamline processes and improve the experience for employees.

To be successful, you will have previous experience in an advisory, co-ordinator or generalist role, be familiar with UK employment legislation, along with CIPD level 5 and a good working knowledge of HRIS systems - Workday would be an advantage.
