HR Advisor - 12 month FTC

Join a global organisation in an exciting role!

You will deliver comprehensive HR services at the local level, ensuring understanding of our strategic goals and compliance with local regulations. You will emphasise local service delivery, which accounts for 75% of the responsibilities, with a significant focus on the hire-to-retire process. You will report to the HR Business Services Country Leader.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

1. Local Service Delivery: 75%

  • Administration:
  • Ensure personnel files are up-to-date.
  • Maintain HR related documents and maintain policies for ISO / TS / KS certificates and other compliance are.
  • Collect and provide documentations in case of Internal and External audits.
  • Provide WD navigation support during onboarding of new hires.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services to update DTP / Call scripts.
  • Educate managers and employees to use Manager and Employee Self-service and Shared Services for WD transactions.
  • Prepare mass data clean-up for WD.
  • Administer compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in HR process improvements, standardization and transformations.
  • ER/LR:
  • You will document disciplinary actions and grievances, prepare reports, and ensure all legal aspects are covered in voluntary and involuntary departures.
  • Prepare offboarding documents, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Gather and organize documents for labor and government audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain records of labor relations issues, track resolutions, and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Prepare materials and documentation for negotiations, take notes during meetings, and follow up on action items.
  • Document and track ethics investigations, prepare reports, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
  • Help document furloughs, layoffs, vacation accruals, and workforce planning activities.

2. Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Strategy Implementation: 20%

  • Performance Management
  • May support the mid-year performance activities upon request / ensuring compliance.
  • Support preparation of PIP.
  • Talent Management and Engagement
  • May facilitate engagement survey result sharing, action planning and Bottom Quartile management upon request of local leadership.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
  • Support and facilitate DEI education upon request of local leadership.

3. Local Initiatives: 5%

  • Participate in local HR projects that support the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with teams to guide HR projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in HR Advisor / Specialist roles in a plant or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations.
