Overview

Housing Solutions Officer (Grade G)
Location: Guildhall 2, Royal Borough of Kingston
Contract: 6 October 2025 – 12 January 2026
Hours: 36 per week | Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00
Pay: £20.37 PAYE / £26.56 Umbrella | Inside IR35
Application Deadline: Monday 29 September 2025 at 18:00

Responsibilities
  • Work directly with households who are homeless or at risk, offering tailored advice and practical support
  • Help clients retain existing housing or secure alternative accommodation
  • Develop and agree action plans with households to prevent or relieve homelessness
  • Engage with a wide range of clients including tenants, homeowners, and those facing relationship breakdowns or eviction
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including landlords, housing providers, social services, and voluntary agencies
  • Ensure performance targets are met and customer satisfaction remains high
  • Contribute to service development and support the Housing Solutions Team Manager
