Overview
This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management worker to join our team here in Cumbria. Working to support our older customers (aged 55+) in Cumbria, you'll be the go-to person for housing and property matters, ensuring homes are safe, tenancies are well managed, and customers feel engaged and supported. Providing a housing management service, you'll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts.
Responsibilities
- Support older residents, many of whom receive care from Lakeland Carers, the on-site team.
- Assist customers with housing benefit claims and rent account management.
- Maintain full occupancy and accurate rent records.
- Conduct routine safety and compliance checks across buildings and communities.
- Handle administrative tasks including record updates, work, and payment processing.
- Collaborate with the care team to promote social engagement and purposeful living.
Qualifications
- A people-first mindset and ideally some experience in property management, compliance, or health & safety.
- A proactive, organised approach with a "can do" attitude.
- Passion for excellent customer service and genuine care for others.
- Confidence working independently and influencing diverse groups.
- Strong collaboration skills across teams and with external partners.
- A love for property and pride in creating homes customers are proud of.
