Housekeeping Supervisor

Your role
  • Oversee and deliver high-quality housekeeping, cleaning and laundry services
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company policies; report hazards and maintain equipment
  • Manage supplies and monitor usage to maintain standards and reduce waste
  • Lead and support the housekeeping team, fostering a positive and skilled culture
  • Plan work schedules for efficient service delivery
  • Maintain strong relationships with residents and colleagues, address issues promptly
  • Promote dignity, respect and privacy for residents throughout the home
  • Monitor and improve housekeeping standards to enhance comfort and satisfaction
  • Respond quickly and discreetly to spillages, accidents and incidents
  • Experience providing domestic services in a care home setting
  • Supervisory experience with team management
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Practical experience operating cleaning machinery
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • Understanding of COSHH guidelines
