Job Summary

The Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Beckenham Park Care Home involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team, committed to providing an exceptional level of care and support to the residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
  • Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and covering and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that personal space and belongings are always respected.
  • Operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are maintained.
  • Adapt and flexibly cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Shift Details

2 part-time positions x 20 hours per week.

Required Checks
  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
