Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Housekeeping Assistant at our privately owned retirement development, New Court, Cheltenham.

The role of Housekeeping Assistant will include:

  • Providing an efficient cleaning service in a luxury environment, including completing laundry for communal areas and owners’ apartments
  • Identifying and reporting any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
  • Organising stores on site and carrying out checks of equipment, replacing when necessary
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Any other tasks as required

Skills and experiences:

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is essential in a hotel or other residential setting
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
  • Previous experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and help colleagues as and when required
