Job summary

An NHS Foundation Trust in York is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join their Hotel Services team. Successful candidates will hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 and have experience in cleaning and customer service. Qualifications

• Experience or volunteering in a mental health or learning disabilities setting is essential.

Role Overview

Housekeepers are responsible for providing and maintaining cleaning and catering services as part of the Hotel Services team to offices, patient and communal areas within the Trust. This part‑time (28 hours) role supports a clean, safe, and supportive environment for staff and patients.

• Provide thorough cleaning and catering services across the Trust’s premises.
• Use chemicals and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Work within a multi‑professional team, responding to urgent requests and short‑notice shifts.

• Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or proof of successful completion.

Work Schedule & Location
