A reputable care provider in Wheatley is looking for a Housekeeper. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, ensuring hygiene, and supporting a caring environment for residents. Housekeeper Location: Wellford Gardens - 1-3 Park Hill, Wheatley, Oxford, OX33 1NE. Pay rate: £12.44 (Mon‑Fri) £13.44 (Sat‑Sun). Contracted Hours: 12 hours per week (1 day in the week, every other weekend).
Our Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our homes, ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy and maintained at all times. You will be a champion for hygiene and infection control within the home, using specialist equipment and materials to create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for residents, their friends and families. Residents may join simple cleaning and laundry tasks, and you may find yourself providing extra help as part of daily routines. You will work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing a safe environment, warmth and kindness to everyone who lives and works in our homes. Wellford Gardens is a luxury new build incorporating all‑inclusive comfort, with en‑suite bedrooms, fresh air ventilation, acoustic monitoring, landscaped gardens, private dining, hair and beauty facilities, cinema, lounge and sun terrace. The home is located just off the A40 on Park Hill in Wheatley and offers round‑the‑clock residential and dementia care.

You will be comfortable in an elderly care setting, relating to residents in a caring and sensitive manner. Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, but if you are new to the profession, we provide all necessary training.
