Description

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper to provide top quality service within our Hospices. We have beautiful bedrooms for children, young people and families and we pride ourselves on keeping them clean, tidy, well equipped and welcoming. That's where you come in!

As one of our Housekeepers, you will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleaning requirements for our hospices and office spaces.

You’ll ensure the environment is safe and comfortable and that the bedrooms and communal areas are clean as well as cheerful.

The Housekeeper will be expected to work without direct supervision and be responsible for housekeeping and cleaning requirements liaising closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor for identification of needs.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a very positive attitude and be committed to providing the highest standards of service.

  • To provide first rate cleaning services for hospices and office spaces.
  • To liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor, regarding housekeeping and cleaning requirements on a day‑to‑day basis.
  • To ensure communal kitchens are cleaned, daily, and stocked up with beverages.
  • To monitor the cleanliness of the house on an ongoing basis and to escalate any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as required.
Hours and Benefits

Hours of work: 8.30am to 2.30pm - Mon to Fri and working 1 in every 4 Sundays, on a rota basis and flexibility to cover for staff absences.

Hourly rate: £13.50 per hour, may also attract additional enhancements for weekend working.
