A local educational institution in the United Kingdom seeks a confident host at Ditton Field to welcome visitors each Saturday. The ideal candidate will maintain a vigilant security presence and ensure no unauthorized access. Key responsibilities include applying safeguarding and health & safety knowledge and adhering to school procedures. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and ideally have experience in a security or educational setting. The role offers hourly pay of £14.
Working at our Ditton Field sports ground, we have an opportunity for a confident host to welcome visitors on Saturdays and provide a vigilant security presence.
The main purpose of this role is to welcome all students, parents, and visitors to Ditton Field from 8.00am until 2.00pm each Saturday during term time and to ensure that no one is able to access the site without permission.
Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. The search will focus on publicly available information and will be limited to issues relating to suitability in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to employment at the school.
Kingston Grammar School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Hourly rate: £14 per hour.
