Job summary

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Hotel Services Supervisor to manage daily services for patients and staff in York. The role involves overseeing housekeepers and catering staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Successful candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject, Food Hygiene Certificate, and substantial experience in supervising teams, preferably in a mental health setting. This is a permanent position requiring flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience supervising/coaching staff on a day-to-day basis.
• Experience of working in a mental health environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of National Standard of Cleanliness and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hotel Services staff including housekeepers and porters.
• Ensure high standard of cleanliness and food provision.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
