Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and accuracy-check prescriptions.
• Support accurate medication history taking.
• Liaise with nurses and doctors regarding discrepancies with patients’ medication to improve patient care.
• Provide counselling and complex medication advice to patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure legal and professional standards are met in dispensing and supply.
