Overview

Care Assistant – Based in Wickersley

Salary: £12.21 per hour + mileage at £0.30 per mile & travel time at £12.21 per hour

Hours: Full Time: 6am-2pm and 3pm-10pm; Part time: 6am-2pm and 3pm-10pm; 4/3 shift pattern (Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri)

Roles available for both drivers and walking routes. No experience necessary – paid training and induction to ensure you feel confident in your role.

  • Provide compassionate support with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care—always with dignity and respect.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as preparing nutritious meals, light housekeeping, and occasional shopping to help maintain a comfortable home environment.
  • Support with medication routines, ensuring individuals receive the right help at the right time, with full training provided.
  • Offer meaningful companionship, bringing warmth, reassurance, and social interaction to brighten someone’s day.
Qualifications
  • The ideal Care Assistant is passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • You’ll be a reliable and honest team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • While previous experience in care, hospitality, retail, or customer service is welcomed, it’s not essential—we value the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Most importantly, you’ll share our values: a commitment to positive change, trust, professional excellence, and delivering personalised care.
