Qualifications

• Up to date on compliance and regulatory rules regarding lifts and cranes.
• Ability to make informed decisions and take responsibility.
• Effective at planning meetings and work allocation.
• Willing to support and deputize for fellow Engineer Surveyors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on inspections of lifts, cranes, and other equipment.
• Prepare reports of examination following inspections.
• Anticipate client needs to ensure compliance with legislation.

Comfortable using technology (tablets, smartphones)

Education

Minimum qualification in Mechanical Engineering (level 4 UK or level 6 Ireland)
