A leading care home provider in North Shields is seeking a Home Administrator to manage administrative processes and support Resident wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have an IT and Administration qualification, experience in a busy office, and excellent Microsoft Office skills. This role offers a full-time fixed-term contract with a wide range of benefits, including a company pension and learning opportunities.
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave working on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.

As a Home Administrator, this will mean managing administrative systems and processes to help our Home Manager effectively run services. Whether you’re maintaining financial records, preparing reports, administering the Time & Attendance system, or processing payroll and HR information — you’ll always prioritize Resident wellbeing.
HC-One is looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, along with admin or secretarial support experience in a busy office. You’ll need excellent Microsoft Office skills, and strong time management and organizational abilities. Beyond that, your positive energy and natural ability to connect with people are essential. When communicating with Residents or colleagues, kindness and consideration are key.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It’s important that you can recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect, and know what steps to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
