GSL Education are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join schools in the Dronfield (S18) area. This role provides the opportunity to engage students in fascinating historical topics, helping them develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.


Responsibilities
as a History Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging History lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for historical events, people, and themes.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to make learning meaningful and memorable.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

Requirements for History Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience teaching History at the school level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students with a genuine passion for History.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
