Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Insight software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of carriageways, road markings and sign maintenance standards and techniques.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Highways Act and New Roads and Street Works Act.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, organise activities and make decisions within guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and manage forward programmes for road maintenance across Suffolk.
  • Support delivery of a safe and well-maintained highway network.
  • Analyse condition data and prioritize works.
  • Respond to public enquiries and contribute to asset condition assessments.
