A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a post holder to support scientific and medical staff in laboratory-based tasks and clerical duties. Overview

The post holder will provide support to the scientific and medical staff of the department.

  • Perform sample reception duties including the receipt, barcode labelling and preparation of samples for analysis
  • Perform clerical tasks including data input of patient demographics and test request information
  • Perform general housekeeping duties including maintaining stock levels, general cleaning and waste disposal

Working hours

Working hours are Monday to Friday (inc Bank Holidays) 7.00 a.m. to 18.45 p.m and Saturday 08:00 to 16.15. The post holder will be expected to work 5 days a week covering a Monday to Saturday service on a rotational basis. The department provides a rota 3 months in advance to allow flexibility and support work/life balance. You will be required to work in the Histopathology laboratories on both QMC and City Hospital NUH Campuses.
