Overview

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to take that vital next step in your career as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant inside of a wonderful SEN department?

An outstanding college located in the Trafford area is eager to add a hard-working, experienced and motivated SEN HLTA to their wonderful learning support department in a full-time position for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as an SEN HLTA, the successful candidate will be required to provide dedicated 1:1 & small group cover supervision to children across KS3, KS4 and KS5 with complex learning difficulties. The role places a keen focus on supporting students in English, Mathematics and Science and keeping students engaged and interactive during session time.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Role Information:

• Providing 1:1 & small group support to KS3, KS4 and KS5 students with SEN
• Focus placed on English, Mathematics and Science subjects
• Creating warm and inclusive learning environment for students
• Paid £115 per day during term time - FREE online CPD courses attached
• Monday to Friday position - October 2025 to July 2026 duration
