A leading education supply agency in the UK is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a Good Primary School in Chester-le-Street starting January 2026. In this part-time role, you will cover PPA mainly across KS2 and occasionally work with Reception/Yr1. Ideal candidates will have experience working with primary-aged children and those with special educational needs. This Primary School in the Chester‑le‑Street area (DH2) is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a part‑time basis from January 2026. The HLTA appointed for the role will be covering PPA mainly across KS2, but with 1 session in Reception/Yr1. Therefore, some experience of working across school would be desired. The role is for 2.5 days per week, and will be on an ongoing basis. This is a Good Primary school, where staff foster a love of learning and where children feel happy and supported coming to school.
