Smile Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons in Nursery with support from an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant in a long-term role which will be ongoing. This is a great opportunity for experienced HLTAs with a passion for Early Years or for a recently qualified ECT looking to build relationships with a brilliant local school before moving to their first teaching role.

About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to a Nursery class, covering planned teacher absences.
  • Work closely with the teaching staff to support learning and classroom management.
  • Assist with intervention groups, ensuring pupils receive tailored support.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Full-time position with a September start.
About You
  • Hold HLTA qualification or QTS (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience delivering lessons to EYFS children.
  • Confident in leading a classroom independently.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
