About The Role

We're seeking a motivated and skilled HGV Vehicle Technician to join our dedicated and high-performing team. As part of Ubicoa fast-growing, local authority-owned company delivering essential frontline services you’ll play a key role in supporting our operational success.

Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs, light vehicles, plant, and equipment to the required standards, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

You will need
  • City & Guild Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
  • Experience of understanding vehicle inspections, servicing and repairing of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
  • Full, valid UK driving licence required
