Shift: 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00

We're looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy service department in Trafford Park. You'll work on a wide range of commercial vehicles and trailers, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on HGVs, commercial vehicles, and trailers
• Diagnose faults and perform vehicle tests
• Complete warranty, contract, and retail documentation accurately
• Undertake preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs
• Support the team and follow instructions from your Shift Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

Essential

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial vehicles
• Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented
• Full UK driving licence
• Friendly, professional, and confident communicator
• Ability to work under pressure and independently or as part of a team

Desirable

• HGV driving licence (Class 1 or 2)
• Manufacturer training and technical knowledge
