HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter

Salary: £52,000

Contract: Permanent

Shifts: Monday to Friday day shift (Some Saturday mornings)

Responsibilities
  • As an HGV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards on HGVs
  • The HGV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the HGV Technician.
  • Tachograph calibrations (50% of the role would involve completing tachograph calibrations)
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in the HGV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety standards, essential for an HGV Technician.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferable for an HGV Technician.
