Job description

Overview

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic (plus van). Location: Bishops Stortford. Salary: £20.00ph. Working Hours: Monday - Friday day shift (Some on-call required).

Responsibilities

• As a HGV Technician you will conduct routine maintenance and inspections on HGV vehicles/Plant (15-18 tonne) as well as specialised mounted equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out MOT preparations and ensure vehicles meet compliance standards.
• To cover breakdowns with occasional on-call.
• Complete all work to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
