Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver looking for an exciting new opportunity in Andover?

Key Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 Refuse Lorry
  • Operate a HGV Class 2 refuse lorry, ensuring all driving is conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with UK road laws and regulations.
  • Navigate various terrains, including rural and built‑up areas, with care and precision.
  • Maintain a clean and organised vehicle, conducting daily checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Assist Loaders
  • Collaborate with and support loaders during certain rounds to ensure efficient and timely waste collection.
  • Assist in loading and unloading bins, ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed.
• Route Management
  • Plan and execute collection routes to optimise efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and re‑route as necessary to meet collection deadlines.
• Customer Interaction
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any queries or issues from the public in a professional manner.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude, building rapport and maintaining high standards of service.
• Health and Safety Compliance
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, reporting any incidents, accidents, or near‑misses immediately.
  • Ensure the safe handling and transportation of waste materials, prioritising safety for yourself, team members, and the public.
• Additional Duties
  • Perform any other duties as required by the supervisor to support the team and company operations.
  • Engage in company training programmes and meetings to stay updated on policies and procedures.

Monday to Friday: 06:45 start times (Part time roles available)
