We are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to join our transport division located at our Heywood facility.

Shift Available: Working Monday - Friday 08:30-17:00

Rate of Pay: £18.61 per hour.

The role

In this role you will complete varied tasks which include:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.
  • Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards.
  • Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service.
  • Repairing defects.
  • General basic garage duties.
  • Dealing with breakdowns nationwide.
What we are looking for
  • Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS.
  • Someone who holds a HGV Class 1 License.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
