HGV Class 2 Driver – Skips, Tippers, Ro‑Ro (ADR) – Permanent Position

Location: Southampton, UK

Salary: Up to £35,000 pa (DOE)

Are you an experienced HGV/LGV Driver with Class 2 and ADR Certification, looking to kick‑start a new career for an established and growing Waste Management company in a permanent position? This role could be excellent for you!

My client is looking for an experienced ADR Certified Class 2 Driver to join their team based in Southampton.

Working Hours: full time, Monday‑Friday (guaranteed 45 hours a week). Overtime and weekend work available.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 2 vehicles: Skip lorries, tippers and Ro‑Ro
• Operate LGV Class vehicles on call‑outs and prearranged jobs across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex
• Load and unload vehicles
• Complete all administration, paperwork and logbooks accurately and on time
• Engage with customers on site, being friendly and offering great service

Requirements

• Driver's CPC and 2 years experience
• Cat 2 licence
• Tacho card
• No more than 3 penalty points on licence
• ADR licence and certification is essential
• Previous experience working for a waste management or skip hire company is desirable
