Job description

Job Title: HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver

Location: Dunmow

Salary: £15.17 per hour

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7am to 5pm (4 day week)

My client, a well respected local authority, is recruiting for HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join their team in Little Canfield, Dunmow.

As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will play a key role in supporting local services by carrying out waste and recycling collections safely and efficiently. Drivers may also be required to assist with loading, so a flexible and team focused approach is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a HGV Class 2 Dustcart across local collection routes
• Ensuring all waste and recycling collections are completed safely and on schedule
• Assisting with loading duties when required
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Previous dustcart driving experience is desirable
• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence

• Good knowledge of Uttlesford District Council surrounding area and routes is an advantage
