Overview

Driver Provider UK are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers in the Barnsley area for both day and night shift duties. Our client requires on‑going vacuum tanker drivers to work on a 4 on 4 off rolling rota, so candidates will have to be available for weekend work.

Responsibilities

• maintaining wet wells
• managing emergency flood situations
• emptying and legally disposing septic tank waste
• other associated drainage duties
• Day shifts start at 05:00
• Night shifts start at 17:00

Qualifications

Experience would be preferred but is not essential as training will be provided. We can take newly qualified HGV drivers as all candidates will have to pass a pre‑employment driving assessment.

We require candidates to have category C or CE driving entitlement, valid CPC and a valid digital tacho card. Candidates will also need to understand working under domestic regulations.

Drivers are expected to be available for a 12‑hour shift, but should be prepared under emergency conditions to commit to longer duty.
