Job summary

A logistics company in Rugby seeks a Class 1 HGV Driver for an ongoing, long-term role with immediate start. You will make 2-5 drops per shift, and handball is required. Full training will be provided, and the role may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. Ideal applicants should have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC card, and excellent communication skills. Occasional night shifts may be needed.

• Must have a valid in-date CPC & Digi cards.
• New Pass drivers welcome.

CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER (Rugby) LGV C – Ongoing long‑term role – Mon‑Fri – Immediate start.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Pay rates

• £17.00 – £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Job role

• Make 2‑5 drops per shift.
• Handball required in this role.
• Full training provided.
• Occasional nights out required.
• Long‑term role with a view to permanent for the correct candidate.

Shift pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 07:00 start times
• 47‑54 hours per week

What we are looking for

• Driver must have a valid HGV Class 1/Category LGV C+E driving licence.
• Must have a valid in‑date CPC & Digi cards.
• New Pass drivers welcome.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must work well with others and as an individual.
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences).
