HGV 1 Driver – Glasgow Cambuslang

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for full‑time roles in our depot in Cambuslang – Glasgow. The role consists of refrigerated deliveries to shops and stores, 8–15 drops per day, with tail lift and cages. Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift Patterns

• Wednesday to Saturday 00:00 – 12:00 (12h)
• Wednesday to Saturday 03:00 – 13:00 (10h)
• Wednesday to Saturday 05:00 – 16:00 (11h)
• Sunday to Wednesday 00:00 – 12:00 (12h)
• Sunday to Wednesday 11:00 – 23:00 (12h)

Day Pay Rates

• Monday – Friday: £16.63 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £18.71)
• Saturday: £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £24.95

Night Pay Rates

• Monday – Friday: £19.00 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £21.38)
• Saturday: £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £28.50

30‑minute break deducted per shift only!

Your role

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules
• Prepping vehicles for delivery
• Completing vehicle checks
• Refuelling vehicles
• Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full
