HGV Class 1 Driver | South Wales | Full Time (Monday to Friday, weekend availability | Competitive salary from £14 - £17ph DOE + £250-£300 Overtime - OTE = £46,800 - £52,800 + bonus scheme potential

Fitzgerald Plant Services, a leading provider of plant machinery repair and maintenance across the UK, is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our growing team. With a reputation for excellence and a nationwide presence, we deliver specialist solutions to a wide range of clients in the construction, civil engineering, and plant hire sectors.

Qualifications
  • At least one years' experience in a driving role within the industry.
  • Must be competent in the use of plant enabling that plant to be manoeuvred safely on/off a lorry.
  • Good knowledge and experience of driver's working-hours legislation, tacho-graph procedures and other legal obligations (essential).
  • NPORS Loader securer or similar (training may be available to candidates who meet all other essential criteria).
  • ALLMI HIAB Certification would be beneficial (training may be available to candidates who meet all other essential criteria).
Responsibilities
  • To transport construction plant, Agriculture plant, commercial vehicles, Rail Equipment and associated equipment to locations throughout the UK.
  • Ensure Vehicles are maintained, cleaned and presentable at all times, and daily checks are completed and undertaken.
  • Load and unload vehicle independently and maintain safety and security of load at all times.
  • To act as a company ambassador when presenting to customers both verbally and on customer premises.
  • Up to 3 - 4 nights out per week.
