Responsibilities

• Perform A to B trunking and trailer swaps.
• Drive pre-loaded vehicles on pre-planned routes.
• Ensure the load is securely strapped.
• No handballing of goods involved.

Job description

The Best Connection are proud to be working with our client based in Washington, who are a large and well-established haulage company.

Due to planned growth and commitment, they are looking for Class 1 Night Drivers.

The start times do vary pending destination however, this tends to be between 2300 and 0100 starts.

In this role you will be doing:

• A to B trunking
• Trailer swaps
• Pre-loaded vehicles & pre-planned routes
• Strapping the load
• No handball involved

The candidate:

• Full, Class CE UK Driving Licence
• CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Digi-Card Required
• 2 year driving experience due to insurances

This is offered on a PAYE basis, at the following rates:

• Monday to Friday £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Saturday £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £18.00 perhour (PAYE)
• Optional nights out, paid at £25.00
